Welcome to my blog – this is a blog about a journey, both literally and figuratively. Join me as I write about a journey as my husband, Chris (aka BB and maybe one day he will let me, let you all know what that stands for) , and I move to a foreign country. My figurative journey is with this blog, to find what this will ultimately become.
One thing my mom taught me was that I didn’t always need to have the right answer – as long as I knew where to look. I don’t have the answer as to what this blog will be, but here’s to hoping I know the right place to look. So I welcome your feedback, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Now for a name, what could I name my blog. A Blog By Any Other Name… was taken, so was A Blog Without a Name, which is what I first wrote when I incorrectly thought of the quote (It is 2 am here in Germany and its only my third day in this country). A blog name sue – taken 5 times over – clearly those people didn’t know the right place to look before naming their blog.
While doing my Google searches – not always the best way to find answers, but again at 2 am in a foreign country, while your husband snores next to you, it’s gold – I happened upon an article describing how to name your blog. It was the typical things that I was already doing or didn’t want to do. But somehow it got me thinking about my favorite books and movies… And that’s when the name came to me.
So if your seat is in the upright position and your tray table is locked in the upright position, let’s take off.
